The 5 major projects in progress:
. “1 school, 1 agro-pastoral center” project: since the implementation of this project, 5 establishments or 5,200 students have been trained, 5 school cooperatives have been created, and 8 hectares have been acquired. The objective for 2024/2026 is to strengthen the agro-pastoral training and production system in schools and to supply 2 existing canteens. Ultimately, we want to build and supply 400 canteens, including 150 in urban areas and 250 in rural areas. . “Clean school” project: this is a sanitation, environmental education and toilet maintenance project in schools. It consists of promoting hygiene in schools by raising awareness among stakeholders, creating environmental clubs and initiating so-called clean school operations, thus allowing us to evaluate them and reward the cleanest school at the end. . . “I love my city” project: it is also an awareness, sanitation, beautification and creation of shaded space project with the populations. It allows us to clean up beaches and lagoons to fight against plastic pollution. . “Green Canton” project: it is for the conservation of biodiversity, the fight against deforestation and the promotion of reforestation and agroforestry. We are currently at 47 hectares of reforested forests with this project and we currently have 25 hectares of reforestation planned until September. . “Green Plateau” Project: The Green Plateau (PV) is a platform for environmental education, the promotion of sustainable agriculture and the presentation of investment and green employment opportunities. The Plateau Vert aims to be a framework for exchange, a platform of decision-making, structural, functional and finally operational opportunities within the reach of decision-makers, the State, other relevant actors in questions related to sanitation and sustainable development. and climate change, the fight against poverty and food security.
