HERE ARE A FEW TIPS FOR TALKING TO CHILDREN ABOUT HEALTH AND a healthy planet.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO RAISE AWARENESS AND EDUCATE CHILDREN ON THE THEME OF HUMAN HEALTH AND the health of our PLANET? YOUTH CONSERVATION MAKES IT EASY! TAKE A LOOK!
The Youth Conservation platform offers an in-depth exploration of the theme of “nature and health”. Children can work alone or in class on module 5 entitled “Nature and my health – Find out how you can have a positive impact on nature to keep everyone healthy“. This module is entirely devoted to discovering and understanding the links between human health and a healthy planet. It also suggests practical ways in which we can take care of our planet and keep ourselves healthy. There are also additional educational resources available to help you learn more about the subject. These resources are available in the “Resources” section of the site and can be downloaded free of charge.
Here’s a guide you can follow if you want to tackle this topic:
Part 1: Discovering the relationships between my health and a healthy planet
In Part 1, you show children that nature is a source of benefits. It helps us breathe, drink, eat and stay healthy! So it’s vital to take care of it. Because we couldn’t live without it. It provides us with everything we need to stay healthy.
Part 2: Understanding the close links between a healthy planet and our health
Now that the children have understood that a healthy natural environment, i.e. one that is fully functional and rich in biodiversity, is essential for our own good health, we need to look at the risks that could arise if we degrade it.
Part 3: TAKING ACTION TO KEEP THE PLANET HEALTHY
