CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS TO FORM THE YOUTH CONSERVATION TUTORS NETWORK!
The Youth Conservation community is growing all the time, and we’re looking for volunteers with a passion for nature conservation to help run it. We are therefore calling for volunteers in all African countries to join us in this mission.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF A YOUTH CONSERVATION TUTOR?
A Youth Conservation (YC) mentor is a nature conservation enthusiast who works on a voluntary basis to promote and disseminate Youth Conservation resources.
Their role is to :
- Use YC resources in their environmental education efforts and help us to continually improve them through feedback.
- Share content with us on the various YC communication channels to help animate the community of mentors and trainers.
- Provide the YC team with feedback on the use of YC resources by the community.
- Help us mobilise other mentors and support them in their environmental education activities (sharing YC resources, motivating colleagues, helping to prepare workshops, etc.).
